Mother's Day Weekend Creative Workshop
Following our SOLD-OUT Creative Winter Workshop, we are thrilled to be back offering two new workshops and a yummy lunch to keep the creative juices flowing!
The chance to relax and create a beautiful floral circlet, learn the mindful skill of Modern Calligraphy and indulge in a divine lunch with your fellow guests.
“I adored this workshop!
A few hours’ in a gorgeous setting, with lovely people, being creative and learning something new, that wasn’t connected to my business or my kids, yet at the same time felt productive and fun… could you ask for more? I left Nyree, Kate and Ellie’s Creative Workshop feeling more relaxed, rejuvenated and inspired than if I’d spent a whole day at a spa.
I can’t wait for the next one!”
Kate Avery Flowers
'I am Kate and I own and run Kate Avery Flowers from my garden workshop in the village of Chiddingfold, Surrey. I offer a luxury floral design service that is completely bespoke. I have been flowering from my garden workshop since 2005 and in 2014 I won the "Best Wedding Florist" in the National Wedding Industry Awards. Anything from single stems in antique bottles to dramatic, suspended floral installations, myself and fantastic team of flowergirls can really bring your floral vision to life and the wow factor to your day.
Working with each client through the whole design process and realising and exceeding their expectations is what I love best. Delivering bridal flowers on the morning of a wedding and to be part of the love and excitement of the day is just such an honour. I still get the same butterflies before each wedding as I did ten years ago. I really wouldn't change my job for anything!'
Milk Street Kitchen
'A love of being in the kitchen led me to leave the PR day job behind and enrol at the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu to learn all I could about the art of baking. Inspired by contemporary patisserie as well as the amazing flavours of the English countryside, I now create delicious showstoppers for my clients to share with their friends and family.
Whether it’s a classic tiered cake, a towering croquembouche or a pop-up patisserie filled with macarons and meringues, everything at Milk Street Kitchen is handmade in the pretty market town of Haslemere in Surrey. Flavour is very important to me, which is why every curd, jam, praline and ganache is freshly made from scratch for each creation. I want to wow your guests. So as well as baking beautiful centrepieces, I love to create the perfect backdrop for them too, styling gorgeous hand-selected furniture and accessories to make it really memorable.'
